Cocobolo is a true rosewood making it beautiful, durable, and threatened in the wild by over-harvesting. Our farmer replants clear-cut cattle farms with rare exotics and their devotion to reforestation is as impressive as their raw material.
Each piece is turned individually and hand polished to a high shine. Finished with a combination of natural shellacs, oils and waxes, the wood catches the light and shows off the beauty and complexity of the grain.
Redwood bison falls are cut ½” wide, bound and glued together then affixed to the handle with high strength epoxy and a metal screw.
Thick, medium density leather absorbs some of the surface sting while delivering good amounts of thud deep into the body.
30% sting / 60% thud / 10% slap
This is a large flogger. Long falls allow for plenty of momentum and fluid motion, so this is a thuddy flogger that still has versatility.
We hold ourselves to high standards and aim to be as transparent about our materials and processes. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
